Alaska Bar Exam Information

The Alaska Bar Exam is a 2 1/2 day test.  Days 1 and 3 of the Alaska Bar Exam consist of nine essay questions including three long essays, six short essays, and two 90-minute Multi state Performance Test problems.  The Multi state Bar Exam is administered on Day 2 of the Alaska Bar Exam.  The application fee is an amount of $800.  Late filing exam fee for December 15th/May 15th is $25, and for  January 15th/June 15th is $100.  Alaska Essay Subjects are AK Constitutional Law, AK Contracts/Sales, AK Criminal Law/Procedures, AK Evidence, AK Property, AK Torts, Business Organizations (Corporations, Partnerships, Business Associations), Civil Procedure, and Family Law.  In addition, remedies may be tested as part of each of the topics if applicable. The 2010 bar exam dates are February 23-25, 2010 and July 27-29, 2010.
