The Maine bar exam is a two-day exam. It consists of the six-hour Multi state Bar Examination (MBE); one 90-minute Multi state Performance Test (MPT) problem; and six 45-minute Maine essay questions.
The February 2010 Bar Examination will be held on February 23 and 24, 2010, at the Holiday Inn By the Bay, 88 Spring Street, Portland, Maine. The July 2010 bar exam will be held on July 27 and 28. To qualify to sit for the Maine Bar Exam, the applicant will need to have a law degree from an ABA approved law school. The exam fee is $450 and for an attorney applicant, the fee is $750.
