The Montana bar exam lasts 3 days. On day 1, Multi state Bar Exam is administered. On days 2 and 3, eleven essay questions are given in three sessions (one day is a half day).

- Domestic Relations
- Income, Estate and Gift Taxation
- Partnerships & Business Organizations
- Ethics
- Wills and Trusts
- Water Law
- UCC
- Workers’ Compensation
The fee for student applicants is $150 and that for attorney applicants is $400. The 2010 February Exam will be held on February 22-24, 2010 at Helena, Montana (Red Lion Colonial Inn). The 2010 July Exam will be held on July 26-28, 2010 at Missoula, Montana (Edgewater Double Tree Hotel).
