The University of New Mexico School of Law
The School of Law is the state’s only law school. It is located on the University of New Mexico’s North Campus. The School of Law has small classes and programs in clinical law, natural resources law, and Indian law. The 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio facilitates a sense of community in the educational experience. Moreover, it also allows the school to offer more courses with smaller enrollments. The full-time faculty includes 34 members. The degrees awarded are Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree; Dual degree programs in Public Administration (J.D./M.P.A.), Latin American Studies (J.D./M.A.), and Business Administration (J.D./M.B.A.) The school is a member of the AALS. It is approved by the ABA. The University of New Mexico has approximately 33,000 students on its main and branch campuses.
